Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the smiling stars to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the watching shepherds to you.
Deep peace of the Son of Peace to you.
Deep peace of the running waves to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you. Deep peace of the smiling stars to you. Deep peace of the quiet earth to you. Deep peace of the watching shepherds to you. Deep peace of the Son of Peace to you.

We are currently at 26 registered pilgrims, and starting to get excited about April! A few of you have asked if the trip is a go, and it most definitely IS! Now, the cost of this trip is based on 30 people, so I am working HARD to get to that level (and your encouragement of friends is still appreciated). I know of about eight people who are still considering those final 4 slots....
After you registered for this trip, Catholic Travel Centre sent you an invoice (with information about optional travel insurance). Just in case you are like me and tend to put things aside and get a little forgetful... that full payment is due to them by January 2. The folks at Catholic Travel said that they will be sending out payment reminders this week. Please remember that if you forgo the travel protection plan (insurance) they offer, to deduct that from your invoice. (Should you buy it or not? I can't answer that for YOU, but here is a previous blog post that might help you decide.) On a practical note- I will be out of the office and out of town between Christmas and New Year's Day. I am not intending to check my work email account more than once or twice. Ditto my work voicemail. I would suggest that if you need to reach me more urgently, SEND ME A COMMENT HERE. I have it set so that I would have to approve a comment before it is made public, so you can ask your question without sharing it with the world! Even more importantly, if you have a finance-related question, please contact the good people at Catholic Travel Centre directly. Their phone number is on their stationery (and I am certain they will be closed for Christmas-- not sure for how long). Have a blessed and joyous Christmas. We will plan to meet as a group toward the end of January/beginning of February. |
